Hi I have posted before,we took my son for assesment and they concluded that he did not have enough difficulties to warrent being put on the spectrum. He scored above average in wisc III tests apart from auditory processing and literal meanings,both of which he scored below in. He has so Im told no social skills and possibly noise sensativity.He will be always a loner there words not mine. The pychologist said never had she met a child so unmotivated and disintrested in life. The test results led her to belive she should have got a different child to what she saw. I went armed with a list of things he does that fall with in asd. But now he was happier at school since being given own table sits alone and different work,teacher not has concerned and she had put this so do not think this helped. Anybody else being in same boat what next, pyschs going to give school some social skills work they can do,but thats it. My brother in law says Im being fobbed off he has aspergers child,who has same weaknesses and got diagnosed. What do you think.
