My son is 15 yrs and was diagnosed with Aspergers this week. (on 13.05.03). He appears to be disinterested in the diagnosis, and does not want to make contact with any other people with aspergers. He does not want to read round the subject or consider it any way.
I had to remove him from school after Easter as he was fed up with being bullied. Kids at school have been picking on him for at least 2 years because he does not interact with them or speak.
What should I do? I need some sort of support, should I make Chris confront his asperger's or let him be?
I am unsure the best way to help him, and the education welfare and school are on my back as I have withdrawn him from school. I am trying to get him home tuition, but the school won't refer him.
