We are currently looking for ABA tutors for our young son, diagnosed moderate on the spectrum. He has just turned four, and is cheerful, intelligent and affectionate, and a real pleasure to be around. His challenges are mostly in the areas of joint- attention and language delay. To help with these, he has been on an ABA program – which he enjoys a great deal - since his diagnosis some 18 months ago, Unfortunately we have recently lost one of our tutors to other commitments and are about to lose another on maternity leave. We would be very happy to hear from you if you think you might be interested in either – or both - of these two roles: • Maternity cover for one of our tutors. This would be Fridays, from 1st June to September (shadowing at a local nursery in the morning and teaching the ABA program at home in the afternoon). AND/OR• A permanent role from September: This would be one day a week (flexible) as School Shadow at local mainstream primary school about ten miles from Henley (with as many home sessions as possible previous to that point to establish a bond). In both roles you will be working as under the supervision of a leading ABA consultant in a clearly structured program, with fortnightly meetings, telephone consulatation and regular opportunities for learning, development and feedback. We are looking for someone reliable and enthusiastic, who enjoys working directly with children and has a knack for making it fun (as we appreciate that ABA is as much an art as a science). We are based in Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire and offer very competitive rates of pay, depending on experience, for the right candidate. Please call or email todayIf you think either of these roles could be for you, please call nick on 07932 786130, or email nickhay@hotmail.co.uk for more details.Thank you
