      My name is Tom, I’m 55 yrs old and a 3rd year Nursing Student studying Learning Disabilities. Before any one starts making jokes about being “a bit bloody old to be a student” I’ve heard them all.
      I was a Learning Disability support worker for a number of years, now that the children are all grown-up and left home I thought it would be a good idea to get a qualification and I couldn’t be happier at the moment. If all goes well I’ll be qualified at the end of next August.
