Hi Everyone, I'm a documentary Producer and Director and I'm making a short documentary film about sensory overload. I'm in the early stages of development so I'd really like to talk to people on here about their experiences of sensory overload and which situations are particularly difficult - especially in regards to public transport and public places. I'd love to talk to parents of children with ASD as well as children, young people or adults who are themselves diagnosed with ASD. I would like to find out more about which places and situations are more likely to contribute to sensory overload, and how people might experience it differently. The short film will be shown at the Sheffield Documentary festival in June this year, and is part of a Channel 4 competition for new directors, called First Cut Pitch. I would be really interested in speaking to people on the phone in the first instance. It would be confidential and is to help me develop my understanding of this area. I am an experienced documentary Producer who has worked on BAFTA and Royal Television Society-nominated programmes, including The Detectives on BBC2 and several critically acclaimed projects for Channel 4.If you are interested on know someone who is, please get in touch at harrietb@gmail.com or call 07940 405 374.I look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks,Harriet
