Speech and Language Therapist required in Watlington, Oxfordshire for 6 hours per week spread over 3 hourly sessions 2x days a week. Immediate start.To work on a home programme with a 9 year old boy with Apraxia, Dyspraxia, executive function disorder and Autism.The family have been running a home programme which follows the USA VB MAPP and ABLLS protocol programmes for 5 years and have recently returned from living in the US for 3 ½ years. The programme is run from the family home in a rural village.We are looking for 6 hours per week, 3 hourly sessions x 2 days a week. Preferred hours 9-12, but can be flexible with days and times. Our son was non-verbal at 5 years old and is now building 5-12 word sentences, with over 1200 words in his vocabulary. He is eager to learn and a joy to work with. Sessions would require working to a Programme board in a natural environment covering:1) Specified goals from the VB MAPP and ABLLS programme.2) Manding, Tacting, Imitation/Echoics, Sequencing & Oral Motor exercises.We are seeking a bright and enthusiastic Therapist who is passionate and caring and enjoys the rewards of helping children learn to speak.
