HelloWe wanted to let you know about our Christmas show at The Polka Theatre, Wimbledon this year and to also let you know about our autism friendly performance of The Snow Queen on Thursday 30 Dec at 11am.Polka’s Autism friendly performances are specifically aimed to appeal to families with children who are on the autistic spectrum or who have sensory sensitivities. To prepare you for your visit to Polka, we will put together an information strip for each production. This is to help you understand the story that you are about to see and to know what to expect during the performance. On arrival you will be greeted by our friendly Front of House team who are there to support you on your visit. To preview the information strip, click here: http://issuu.com/polkatheatre/docs/the_snow_queen_suggested_synopsis_for_asd_friendly?viewMode=presentationWe have adapted the show slightly by having lower capacity, unreserved seating so that you can have the seat of your choice. The sound will be at a lower volume and the lights will be dimmed rather than a completely dark auditorium. During the show there is a designated "chill out" area that can be used at any time. Available on our website is a 360 degree tour of the theatre as well as photos of all of our spaces at Polka to also better prepare you for your visit. The show is suitable for 6 - 11 year olds and adults too!The performance duration is 1hr 45 minutes (including interval).Tickets: £14 / £10 (concessions), plus complimentary tickets for carers. If you need any more information or wish to book then please call the Box Office at 020 8543 4888 or visit http://www.polkatheatre.com. We hope that you will be able to join us.ThanksThe Polka Theatre Team p.s. We would welcome any feedback if you come along to see this show - so do let us know what you thought.
