      hi my name is tim and i have 2 children jordan is 5 and has been diagnosed as severely autistic and kyle is 2 with fears that he is going the same way. M y wife and i have split up recently and we have agreed that because of thier routine that i only see them on a saturday and i have great fears that they will not remember who i am.can any1 help me with this matter?

      Hi Tim, I think the stresses and strains of having autistic children often puts unbearable pressure on relationships. Autism does not, in my experience, appear to be a disability associated with forgetfulness and I would think it far more likely that your children would be distressed if you failed to show up at your alloted day/time than forget you in between.
