Background

Measles Mumps Rubella (MMR) vaccine was introduced in the UK in 1988. It superseded single vaccines against measles and rubella which had been available for a number of years previously. Since 1992 the numbers of individual cases have continued to rise. Alexander Harris became involved in a co-ordinating role in the cases in 1999. Currently, we represent in excess of 1000 claimants. Alexander Harris have a contract with the Legal Services Commission that provides funding to carry out both generic and individual work on the MMR cases.
