Hi Debs, I don’t have a lot of knowledge with regard to suspensions etc. but I think Carol does. If you give her a quick ring in the office this morning (9:30 – 12:30)she will call you back (01536 523274). She will probably also be able to help with what you should be pushing for at the transition meetings and statement review. As I mentioned previously, I would be tempted to contact Sunfield and ask to speak to somebody from their ‘outreach’ program as I am sure they will be very helpful with advice and are likely to have good ‘local’ knowledge. I don’t think the NAS are particularly good on the advice side but are good if things move in a tribunal/legal direction as they can get you excellent legal representation from the law firm that I work for. Not a lot of help, I know. Best of luck with the meeting. Dave.
I tried to contact carol but she wasnt there ,thanks anyway ,someone from the LEA is going to be at the meeting looks like i will wait and see what the LEA think then decide if i need to fight the case ,thanks all Deb
