      Hi all
I am new to this forum, and though I am pretty busy with life just now, I hope to visit this forum often, and just wanted to say hello.
We have a 4 year old son, who we have recently realised may well have ASD. I don’t know anyone else who has a child with autistic tendencies, so it is sometimes an overwhelming challenge to know how to best support our little one, and is often a lonely time. In fact I have more trouble dealing with supermarket ‘critics’ than with DS’s behaviour and very loud voice! I have been reading lots of exciting material recently though, that links this condition with hyper or hypo functioning of the nervous system. This makes so much sense to me, and I wonder if anyone else has followed this theory as a way of understanding what is happening for our children. I look forward to chatting to you all.
