Hi,I'm currently in the middle of my 3rd year dissertation, I'm studying Joint Honours in Special Educational Needs and Education Studies. I've chosen to focus my dissertation research on the thoughts and feelings surrounding Applied Behaviour Analysis and the impact strong views may have upon a family considering intervention methods for their child with Autism.I was wondering if there were any parents of children with autism, or people with autism themselves who would be happy to discuss, in a short semi-structured interview with me, some of their thoughts around ABA? I'm particularly interested in families who have used ABA in the past and has discontinued its use, or has considered it as an intervention, but ultimately opted not to use it, or those with autism who may have had ABA in the past.Any help would be very much appreciated and of course, all ethical guidelines will be in place and your confidentiality and anonymity will be protected. Thanks!
